Don't get us wrong, we would love for Eve Swim to be everyone's 'go to' swimwear!
But honestly, our styles are not designed for every body. And that sucks, but it is a big reason why we started Eve Swim in the first place.
Let us explain...
We both rock some curvy hips and round rear-ends! We've spent years finding swimwear that we 'make-do', especially for bottoms. Settling for sub-par coverage or wearing a style we just didn't want to wear: a light sarong, a short sundress, gym shorts 😅

"Enough is enough, I can't go on, I can't go on no more, no!" 🪩🕺
So, we set to work. Alysia worked on some general design ideas, we found a technical designer to start prototyping, and developed the designs into patterns and fully made pieces.
It was no easy feat. We started the process in the midst of pandemic. We had to mail prototypes across the country and host virtual fittings. We'd make design changes, then when the adjustments didn't work, or didn't fit how we expected, it would throw us for a loop. It was iterative, and it was hard.
But we worked through it, and ended up with gorgeous products. That fit US so well, hold in place, and look SOOO good.
And then it hit us...this may not be for our friends who have slim hips, or 'no butt'.
We can't create pieces that are for every body, because that's not possible. All of our bodies are different, and how we each wear our swimwear is different.
Our swimwear might not be for everyone, but it is for anyone: if you want full-coverage bottoms and you have big hips. Or you have a round butt. Or if you like to wear a high leg and still have full coverage. Or you're tired of having full coverage one-pieces that can't accommodate your long torso.
Eve Swim will be perfect for you!
